Born to Sidney Lee Williams and his wife Nora (Black) in a small Texas town. She married John P. McKee and had five children, Joel, Jerry, John, Susan, and James, along with grandchildren and great grandchildren. She later divorced but continued to live in her little house in Escondido, California. On the night that her son, Jerry, died in his home from cancer, she fell and injured her shoulder. She never recovered from either event and died six weeks later. Her passing is mourned by her surviving children every single day. She and Jerry are still being scattered to the winds in places they loved or wanted to go.
