March 31, 1964 - May 10, 2016

Michael A. Abdollahzadeh passed from this life into his heavenly home on May 10, 2016 following a brief but intense battle with cancer. He was born March 31, 1964 in Sacramento CA, to Mohammed and Homa Abdollahzadeh.

Mike attended and graduated from Jackson High School in Jackson, CA. He sensed God's call to ministry early in life and prepared for that call by attending and graduating from California Baptist College in Riverside and later earned his M. Div. degree at Golden Gate Seminary in Mill Valley, CA.

Mike served in pastoral ministry until 2012.

Among the locations where he ministered with his family were; Yuma, AZ, Sacramento, CA, Wickenburg, AZ, and Lodi, CA.

Mike married Pam Haun on August 26, 1989. They have three children, Cierra, Cameron, and Cooper.

Mike was a "people person" who enjoyed conversation, especially when sharing the importance of the good news of Jesus Christ, and providing pastoral care to others. He loved singing and teaching the Bible. In addition to ministry, Mike was a loyal fan of the SF Giants and was frequently able to attend games to which he generously invited family and many friends over the years.
