Mel Conder, 87, died Oct. 2, 2006 in Provo, UT. Born Dec. 2, 1918 in American Fork, the son of Edwin William and Flora Yancey Conder. Melvin served as a Boy Scout leader. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, Korean War and was a member of the VFW. His dry wit and kind disposition will be missed by all.
Survived by 3 sons 4 daughters: Melvin Jr. (Joanne), Penrose, CO; Robert L. (Linda); Pat Johnson; Carolyn Merworth all of Salt Lake City; Dale (Gayle) Smith, Lehi; Pam Jenkins, PG; Cathy Austin, Eagle Mountain; 24 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 3 gg grandchildren; a brother Morlin (Erma) and a sister Evelyn Fox both of Am Fork.
Funeral will be Fri Oct. 6, at 11 am in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E 100 N, Am. Fork, where friends may call Thurs 6-8 pm and 1 hr prior to services. Burial, American Fork Cemetery.
