Alice was a loving and devoted wife and homemaker. She greatly enjoyed taking care of her family, baking, collecting dolls, and attending to her rose garden. Alice was an avid animal lover, especially cats and birds. She was a member of the Mattituck Presbyterian Church and sang church choir. Once her children were raised, Alice became the church treasurer and worked as a bookkeeper for the Mattituck Free Library. She will be remembered for her sweet and friendly personality.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Norman Dale Addy and her siblings.
Survivors include her daughters, Sherry Hunt and her husband, Michael and Holly Butler and her husband, Dale; grandchildren, Melissa Walker and her husband, Brent, Michelle Johnson and her husband, Michael, Jason Butler, and Jessica Rebert and her husband, John and 8 great grandchildren.
Following Alice's wish to be cremation, she will be interned beside her husband in Cutchogue, New York.
