LAWRENCEBURG Ky., Aug 20 Special - L. Sterling Boggess, United States civil engineer for the U.S. Government and native of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday at Guatemala City, Guatemala, Central America, according to word received here today. The message gave no details of the cause of his death, but he had written he had been suffering from a heart affliction. Survivors include a son Sterling Boggess Jr., Los Angeles, Calif., two brothers, Ezra Boggess, Lawrenceburg and Dr. Wallace W. Boggess, Dayton, Ohio and an aunt Miss Susie Crossfield, Lawrenceburg. Sterling married 4 June 1924 in Owen Co. Ky., Faye Ann Ismael. He was employed as a Civil Engineer for the Public Roads Administration, Federal Works Agency in Guatemala City, Guatemala. He died from a coronary thrombosis in Guatemala City and was buried in Panteon Masonic Niche #9, General Cemetery, Guatemala City.
