Audrey took pride in the fact that she had worked at Olmstead Air Force Base during World War II while her husband was deployed, and loved traveling the U.S., Canada, and Europe with her husband in subsequent years. She always enjoyed get-togethers with friends at the Colonial Park Mall and especially loved time spent at family gatherings and events.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Fleegal, Sr., her daughter, Brenda J. Stoner; and her siblings, Robert and Russell Matio, Anita Rodichok, and Wanda Snyder. Surviving are her sons, Richard K. Fleegal and wife Elaine of Camp Hill and Robert E. Fleegal, Jr. and wife June of Mechanicsburg; her son-in-law, Stephen R. Stoner of Mechanicsburg; her grandchildren, Kenneth and wife Andrea, Alan, Michael, and Juliann Fleegal, Kathryn Fleegal, Joshua Stoner and Shannon Whiting and husband Brent; her great-grandchildren, Alyssa Fleegal, Bradley Hilbert, and Ella Grace, Griffin, and Violet Whiting; her brother, Ronald Matio and wife Sandra; her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Matio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, May 18 at Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg, where a viewing will begin at 10:30 AM. Burial will take place in Rolling Green Cemetery.
