Rudolph B. "Rudy" Hippe, 70, St. Paul, formerly of Lankin, died Friday, Feb. 26, 1993.

Rudolph Bernard Hippe was born Nov. 9, 1923, the son of Martin and Clara (Hanstad) Hippe, in Lankin, where he attended school. He worked in carpet and floor covering sales and installation, and for Ryco Chemical and Seeger's, both in St. Paul, MN.

Survivors are his wife; children: Rosanne (Dan) Koecher, Luck, WI; Dean Hippe, Cottage Grove, MN; Judith (David) Cavegn, Oakdale, MN; Duane Hippe, St. Paul, MN; Roxanne (Severt) Weme, St. Paul, MN; Sandra (Jim) Griffin, St. Paul, MN; Dale Hippe, Lake Elmo, MN; and David Hippe, Lake Elmo, MN; the children's mother, Alice; 22 grandchildren; and siblings, Oris Hippe, Carl Hippe, Martinus Hippe, Henry Hippe, Joseph Hippe, Lester Hippe, Pastor Donald Hippe, Benora Rothenberger, and Helen Pillar.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Aletta Puffer and Ruth Hippe, and infant siblings: Malvin, Marion, Norma and Chester.

Services: Tuesday, March 2, 1993, in Wulff Family Services, Crestwood Park Mortuary, St. Paul, MN. Interment at Pleasant Valley Cemetery rural Park River, ND.
