ames Lamar Adams “Bim” of Covington passed away May 13, 2016, at the age 61. Bim retired from Sweetheart Plastics after 25 years of service. He enjoyed listening to all genre of music. A gentle, kind hearted and soft spoken man, he loved and adored his family and cherished the time spent with them. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Pearlie McKnight Adams.

Survivors include his father, William H. Adams; sisters and brother-in-law, Aubrey Francine and Kenneth Griggs, Joan Adams, Harriet Adams Fairley, Yvonne Carr; brother, Delmas Noland Adams “Jabbo”; aunts, Ms. Camille McKnight, Ms. Nadia McKnight; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Adams will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016, 11:00 AM, at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road in Covington, with Elder Reggie Russell officiating.
