Mr. Kenneth L. Abbey, 65, of 1825 Hunting Drive, died Saturday, April 16, 1994. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at J.M. Posey and Sons Funeral Home, North Augusta, with Dr. Waties P. McLeod officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Mr. Abbey, a native of Jackson, Mich., had lived in North Augusta for 24 years. He was a retired Army staff sergeant. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and American Legion Post No. 71.
Survivors include his wife, Betty L. Abbey; his mother, Bernice L. Abbey, Jackson; three sons, Harold K. Abbey, North Augusta, Gary L. Abbey, Riverside, Calif., and Dale R. Abbey, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; a daughter, Tera L. Mathis, Belvedere; three sisters, Jean Tultki and Joyce Sitko, both of Jackson, and Betty Holloway, Adrian, Mich.; a brother, Jerald R. Abbey, North Augusta; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of the military.
