SOUTHPORT, N. C. -Syble B. McCoy, 98, died Oct. 21, 2011, at Ocean Trail Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born and raised in Belton, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Maude Bannister.

She was a member of the Church of God in Williamston.

Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth Worley of Augusta, Ga., Sylvia Martin and husband William of Williamston; son, Roger McCoy and wife Annette of Shallotte, N. C.; sisters, Sue Reed of Belton, Margie Walker of Spartanburg; sister in law, Mattie Lee Bannister of Belton; 10 grand children; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Oscar Joseph McCoy; son, Billy Ray McCoy of Columbia; and daughter, Cindy Davenport of Williamston.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in South Carolina.

Memorials may be to the First Baptist Church of Shallotte, Debt Reduction Fund.
