She was the daughter of Ernest and Irene Provo. Carol attended school in Flint until her family relocated to Escanaba when she was a teenager. She worked a variety of jobs in her younger years to help her parents.
On April 12, 1969, Carol married Joseph F. Robitaille at St. Joseph Church in Escanaba. He preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 2008.
She was employed with Andex for over 30 years until her retirement. Carol loved her job and the people she worked with.
Carol loved camping, Elvis, and attending bingo on Sunday and Monday every week.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion Auxiliary, American Veterans Auxiliary, and was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Carol was also a member of St. Anne's Church.
Carol was survived by:r her family, Joseph P. (Bridget) Robitaille; grandchildren, Dakota Joseph, Dallion Russell, Shianna, Debra Lynn, and Dayton Paul Francis; sister-in-law, Lynn Robitaille; brother-in-law, Dan (Linda) Robitaille; her dog, CJ; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph; and brother, Guy Provo.
Visitation at the Crawford Funeral Home. Funeral service with Rev. Fran DeGroot officiating. Burial in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
