Edith was a daughter of the late Clyde and Bertha Sanford Overman. Edith was a member of Canton Free Will Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Gold and husband, John, of Waynesville, and Coleen Blaylock and husband, David, of Canton.
