John A. Hooper, age 83, of Tuscumbia, died Monday, May 9, 2016. Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia in charge of Arrangements. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Mr. Hooper was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Mary Hooper, daughter, Faye Heathcoat, grandson, Troy Glenn, parents, and multiple siblings.
Survivors include children, Linda Fountain (Bobby), Doug Wigginton (Dot), Stanley Hooper, and Kathy Davis; sisters, Shelby Ellis Allen and Joyce Terry; twelve grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Fountain, Jon Dove, John Paul Bunting, Aaron Hooper, Treaston King, and Matthew Glenn.
