CARNEY, Arthur, 91, years old of Tucson, AZ died at his home in the arms of his family June 26, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Dorothy Carney; his children, Janet Haefner and June (Tom) Bennett; sisters, Ruth and Mary. Six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. Mr Carney was born in McComb, Ohio June 24, 1911. He attended Fort Wayne University to study Mechanical Engineering. He was President of Toledo Generator Service until his retirement in 1972. He was a catholic and member of Our Lady of Fatima. Memorial Service 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2002 at Tucson Estates Clubhouse, 5900 W. Western Way Circle with Fr. Mike Martinez officiating. Memorial contributions in Mr. Carney’s memory may be made to the Tucson Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 3767 E. Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85716.
