M. Inease "Bonnie" Cain, 74, died Thursday, January 6, 2005, in her home in Wolcott. She had been in failing health since July 2004.

Born February 4, 1930 in Celina, Tennessee, she lived in Round Grove and Benton County before coming to Wolcott. Her marriage was to Vincent R. Cain on June 4, 1949 in Otterbein. He died January 14, 1994.

Mrs. Cain was a homemaker and she helped her husband farm. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Remington. She enjoyed walking daily and watching collegiate sports, especially Purdue.

Suriving are two sons, Michael Cain (wife Sheila) of Fowler and Tim Cain (wife Melanie) of Fort Wayne; a daughter Theresa Oberlander (husband Craig) of Wolcott; two brothers, Wayford Spear (wife Loretta) of Indianapolis and Floyd Spear (wife Alpha) of Flintstone, MD; five sisters, Estelle Shaw of Delphi, Nina Crace (husband Beecher) of Brookston, Doyle Logan (husband Ivan) of Montgomery, IL, Wendy Murphy (husband Jerry) of Palm Desert, CA, and Shirley Weaver (husband Larry) of Sun City, AZ. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren.
Preceded in death by a son, Allen Cain, an infant daughter, Janet Cain, her parents, Herman and Bertha Cain Spear; a brother, Rester Spear.

Service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Remington, Father Thomas Fox officiating.

Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Memorials in her honor to the Make A Wish Foundation or for Masses at the Church.
