Jeanette McCrary Porch, 93, passed away on May 9, 2016.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum. The Rev. Karen Mitcham officiating. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. to service time in the Chapel Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ARC of Macon, 4664 Sheraton Drive, Macon GA 31210 or Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon GA 31210.
Mrs. Porch was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Felton D. and Bennie McCrary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Bass Porch and a brother, Felton McCrary Jr. Mrs. Porch was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt.
She is survived by her children, Sherry (Terry) Sanders of Macon, Randy (Paulette) Porch of Blue Ridge, Jan Porch (Ronnie Lord) of Macon, four grandchildren, Jennifer Sanders, Angie (Jay) Hilliard, Angela Porch, Kristen (Will) Haley, seven great grandchildren, three grand dogs, Abby, Rascal, and Happy, and several nieces and nephews.
Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of the arrangements.
