Caroline H. Almond Jacobs, 86, 249 W. 2nd South, died at her home Friday at 10 a.m. of coronary occlusion.
Born in North Ogden, Jan. 1, 1858, a daughter of John Birrell and Emma Mary Hilliker Almond. She had been a lifelong resident of Salt Lake City. A member of the LDS church, she was married to Charles Jacobs in Salt Lake City in 1897.
Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. D. R. Packard and Miss Becky Almond, Salt Lake City.
Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at 125 N. Main, where friends may call Sunday from 2 to 8 o.m. and Tuesday prior to services.
Burial will be in Salt Lake City cemetery.
