ASHEBORO Mr. Carl A. Brown, 94, of West Liberty St., died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at Randolph Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at the Chapel of Pugh Funeral Home, with Dr. John S. Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.

He was a native of Randolph County and retired from Randolph Mills after 50 years of service. He was a member of Hanks Masonic Lodge No. 138, Franklinville, having served as master of the lodge in 1960. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Asheboro, where he taught the Fellowship Class.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Burrow Brown of the home; sons, Ralph K. Brown of Salisbury and retired Major Dwight E. Brown, Harrison, Ark.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.

Members of the Hanks Masonic Lodge No. 128, will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Asheboro, 133 North Church St., Asheboro, N.C. 27203; the Leukemia Society of American, North Carolina Chapter, 5624 Executive Center Dr., Charlotte, N.C. 28212; or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, P.O.
