HELPER – Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, Carmella Saccomanno Priano, age 92, passed away March 2, 2005 in Price.

Born Nov. 2, 1912 in Spring Glen, to Ralph and Maria Theresa Potestio Saccomanno. Married Anton S. Priano Jan. 10, 1945 in Price, he died Aug. 30, 1995.

Carm was an active member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and a lifelong resident of Carbon County. She enjoyed working alongside her many friends of JC Penney of Price prior to retiring. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and Carm made sure that everyone had their own little box of goodies. Carm lived for her family. Her big smile, warm hug and kiss made everyone feel like they were part of her family.

Survived by stepson, Elmo (Helen) Priano, Price; brother, Charlie Saccomanno, Spring Glen; sisters, Gemma Larcher, Price; Pauline (Joe) Lepore, Midvale; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; husband; sons, Anthony and James Priano; two grandchildren, Wendy and Lloyd; three brothers, James, Joe and Armand; and sister, Mary Colombo.

Funeral Mass, Monday, March 7, St. Anthony Catholic Church. Committal service, Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
