Levi and Betsey moved to Stanstead Co., Quebec about 1810 with Levi's 6 brothers: Francis, Abraham, Simon II, Theophilus, Thomas and John. They moved along with the Lyford, Aldrichs, Babcocks and others. Levi and Betsey settled away from Cassville about 8-9 miles near Brown's Hill.
Levi died on 20 Nov 1829 in Brown's Hill, Stanstead, Quebec, Canada at 44 years of age. His stone was placed in Griffin Hill Cemetery, and is said to be thin (about an inch thick by 10 by 30 and is made of several layers of slate. The inscription reads: "Levy from Epsom - 1785-1829 - Friends nor physicians could not save My mortal body from the grave nor can the grave confine me here When Christ shall call me to appear."
