Harland A. Krueger, age 83 of 203 Hillcrest Drive, Marion, passed away Sunday October 15, 2006 at the Appleton Medical Center.

Harland was born on September 3, 1923 in the Township of Dupont, Waupaca County, WI. He was the son of the late Louie and Martha (Bork) Krueger. As a young man, Harland served his country as a United States Marine during
WWII. Harland returned to the area farming in the Township of Bear Creek, Waupaca Co., WI. He was united in marriage to Ina Rose "Posie" Olson on May 1, 1948 at the St. John's Lutheran Church in the Township of Matteson, Waupaca County, WI. The couple farmed in various places including Bear Creek and Platteville before they retired to the Mountains of Colorado. The couple later moved back to Marion, but still spent the winters in Texas and New Mexico. Harland was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Marion. He was also a member of Perry's Landing Golf Course in Marion and the American Legion Post #198 in Marion. Harland had many hobbies in life including gardening, hunting, watching the Green Bay Packers, golfing,
playing cards, and collecting toy tractors.

Survivors are: His wife: Ina Rose "Posie" Krueger, 2 sons: Tom (Beverly) Krueger, Marion. Roy (Debbie) Krueger, Fond du Lac. A daughter: Sally (Dan) Bettin, Clintonville.
5 Grandchildren: Rick Krueger, DePere, Kim Krueger, Palm Bay, FL, Tyler (Christie) Bettin, Ft. Drum, NY, Cody Bettin, Clintonville, & Steven Krueger, Fond du Lac. 1 Great-Granddaughter: Uriah Krueger, Clintonville.
4 Step-Grandchildren: Angela (James) Reed, Omro, Dean (Tricia) Richter, Clintonville, Brook Richter, Omro, and Sara Richter, Marion. 1 Step-Great-Grandson: Spencer Reed, Omro. 3 Brothers: Leland (Nora) Krueger, Marion. Wayne (Diane) Krueger, Neenah. Gary (Diane) Krueger, Delafield.
A special cousin: Lorraine Selinski.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, 3 infant children: Kristine, Mary Lou, and Terry, and a brother Howard.
