George W. Blish, 63, of 85 S. Main St., died Sunday at his home. He was born May 14, 1909, at Sturgeon Bay, a son of Theodore and Bertha Behler Blish. He married Lucille L. Rickman in Chicago on Dec. 12, 1936. Mr. Blish was formerly employed at the shipyards in Sturgeon Bay and later by Fred Rueping Leather Co. He was an active member in senior center activities. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Royal Meyer, Mrs. Laurence Redman and Mrs. Gary Baatz all of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Allen Schepp of West Bend and Mrs. Elmer Mulhollon Jr. of Rosendale; and three sons, Robert James of West Bend, Terry Allen of Manitowoc and Dennis Russell of Algoma. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Kraemer of Evanston, IL., Mrs. Arthur Johnson and Mrs. Clara Delsart both of Sturgeon Bay. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1969 and by three brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Rev. Martin Koehler officiating. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
