Maxie Mae Atwood, 88, Milton, died Saturday, March 11, 2017, at her home. She was born June 24, 1928, in Orlando, Rock Castle County, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard D. Atwood, on March 19, 1981; two stepsons, Charles and Richard Atwood; and 10 siblings.
Survivors include four children, David of Milton, Michael (Karen) of Marengo, Jerry of Connersville and Jennifer Rose Henderson (Steve) of Payneville, Ky.; four stepchildren, Orville Atwood of Marengo, Thomas Atwood of Milltown, Boyd Atwood of Kirby and Loyd Atwood of Corydon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
