Funeral services for Elliott N. Lewis Jr., 89, Sellersburg, will be at noon Monday, May 9, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. He passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016.
Elliott was born Oct. 9, 1926 in Chance, Ky. to the late Elliott and Minnie Lewis, was a Navy Veteran of World War II and retired from Colgate Palmolive Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sellersburg.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Nina M. Lewis; children, David E. Lewis (Betsy), Yvonne M. Anderson (Stephen), and Steven P. Lewis (Kim); grandchildren, David T. Lewis (Angela), Courtland Lewis (Jenny), Ethan Lewis, Taylor Lewis, Nathaniel Anderson (Tricia), Sadie Whalen (Buddy), Damon Lewis (Janelle), Samantha Lewis, and Blake Lewis; nine great-grandchildren; and a stepson, Phillip Pritchard (Susan).
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to First Baptist Church of Sellersburg.
