Gerald F. Simons, Jr., 23, of RD3 Carlisle, died Thursday morning at the Carlisle Hospital.
Mr. Simons was born July 12, 1950, in Carlisle and the son of Gerald F. and Helen C Reighter Simons Sr., RD6 Carlisle.
He was employed as produce manager at Giant Foods Inc., Mechanicsburg. He attended the St. John's Lutheran Church, Boiling Springs, was a member of the Carlisle YMCA, a member and treasurer of the Interns Softball team and was a graduate of Carlisle High School, class of 1969.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Debra Jones Simons; two brothers, Ronald L. Simons, 106 Charles St., and William G. Simons, RD6; two sisters, Mrs. Garry (Diane) Shulenberger, Mechanicsburg and Mrs. James (Donna) Travis, Arendtsville; his paternal grandfather, William Simons, Mechanicsburg, two nephews and a niece.
The funeral service will be held at 2 Sunday from the Hoffman Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., with the Rev. Sterlen S. Sheaffer and Rev. Paul Kocher officiating. Burial will be in Kutz's Cemetery.
