Clarence J. Weyker, 80, of Rice Lake died Sept. 28 at Lakeview Medical Center. A Mass of Christian burial was Tuesday morning at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Haugen, with the Revs. Dave Oberts and George Votruba officiating and burial at the church cemetery.
Mr. Weyker was born March 24, 1926 to Nicholas and Susan (Bley) Weyker in Port Washington, where he grew up and then worked on the family farm until moving to Milwaukee, where he worked for Briggs & Stratton. He married Mary Votruba on Sept. 1, 1962 in Sheldon, and they lived in Milwaukee and worked at Briggs & Stratton until their retirement. Mr. Weyker's wife, Mary, died in Sept. 1993, and he moved to Rice Lake in 1994.
He is survived by two brothers, Raymond and George, both of Milwaukee; and two sisters, Daisy Korchunoff of Denver, Colo., and Marie Reimesch of Milwaukee.-10/04/06
