Funeral for Mrs. Alberta L. Avery, 2705 N. Russett St., who died Sunday in a Portland hospital, will be Thursday at 2:30 pm at Mikeworth’s Peninsula Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose City Cemetery.
Born in Lamar County, Tex., on Nov. 19, 1878, Mrs. Avery had lived in the North Portland district the past 60 years. Surviving are three sons, Milburn C., of Riddle; Albert C., of Lyons; and Robert L., of Molalla; and six daughters, Edith Cook, Medford; Reva Billings, Port Orchard; LaVella Jarvis, Sacremento, Calif.; and Francis Jaboc, Inez Carver and Alice Barrett, all of Portland.
