Pauline was born at home in Dunn County on Oct. 11, 1931, to the late Marshall O. and Myrtle L. (Fagarland) McIvor. She graduated from Menomonie High School. For many years, she decorated cakes for people. She was a very good artist. In her later years, she worked at Bi Rite Pharmacy, as well as doing volunteer work at Fort Casper, all in Casper, Wyo. She lived with her husband and one son, Marshall, in Wisconsin, Wyoming, Washington and Nevada. She enjoyed time with her family and friends and going places where her son played country music and sang.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Edgar Neil Gilstrap; her son, Carl "Butch" Lee (Krysten) Larson of Florence, Ore.; one brother, Bruce (Sandy) McIvor of Menomonie; two sisters, Phyllis (McIvor) Knutson of Carson City, Nev., and Judith (McIvor) (Elvin) Stoner of Eau Claire; many nieces and nephews.
She was precede in death by her son, Marshall Gilstrap; parents, Marshall O. McIvor and Myrtle L. (Fagarland-McIvor) Trinko; one brother, Palmer M. McIvor; former husband, Marvin Larson.
Pauline's great wit and humor will be especially missed along with her great smile.

Cremation Society of Wisconsin in Altoona is serving the family.
