SPRINGFIELD - Ellen Sally Graves, 89, of Springfield died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007, at Lewis Memorial Christian Village.
She was born June 1, 1917, in Fontanet, Ind., the daughter of James Lee and Butha Grace Smith.
She married Fred Graves in 1933; he died in 1995.
Mrs. Graves was a cafeteria worker for School District 186 and at Pleasant Hill Elementary School.
She was a member of Elm Street Christian Church, Sangamon County Home Extension, 50-year member of Order of the Eastern Star Flower City Chapter and more than a 40-year member of TOPS Club.
She was a former member of Riverton Christian Church.
Survivors: one daughter; one son; two granddaughters; a great-grandson; three sisters, Wilma Orme and Roberta (husband, Maron) Wright, both of Riverton, and Mary Roberson of Pasadena, Texas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Staab Funeral Home, Paul Cox officiating.
Burial: Roselawn Memorial Park.
