Andrew "Andy" Bill Floor was born in Klanrata, Greece, a son of William and Asimo Tzelepis Flogeras. He married Dina Soter about 1925. They had one son, William Andrew "Bill" Floor. Dina died in 1933, and a few months later, in September 1933, Andy married Marie A. Trakas. Andy and Marie had three children; Georgia, Emanuel Andrew and Andrea Rebecca.

Andy operated the Lake and Roxy Vaudeville Theatres and the Star Theatre in Salt Lake City. Sadly, Andy died when his card was struck by a bus in the Avenues area of Salt Lake City, March 22, 1944.

Andy Floor, who's run the Star theater for so many years, was killed when his Cadillac sedan and a bus crashed at Ninth avenue and G street. He was hurrying home and so was the girl bus chauffeur.

SALT LAKE CITY, April 8 (AP)- Mrs. Lillian V. Driscoll, 22, Salt Lake City utility bus driver, will be arraigned April 11 on an involuntary manslaughter charge resulting from the death of Andy Floor, Salt Lake City theatre operator, in a March 22 collision. Mrs. Driscoll was released upon furnishing $500 bond.
