Funeral services for Mrs. Glenda Faye Standley of Jonesboro, LA were held on May 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro. She was 78. Officiating was Doctor Charles Wesley. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories.

Visitation was from 5-9 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Edmonds Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James Kenneth Standley; two nieces, Letha Hartsfield and husband Traeand Susie Watts; five nephews, Michael A. Watts, Russ Watts and wife Erika Jimmy Standley and wife Ann, Jerry Standley and wife Katy, Keith Standly and wife Christi; four great nephews, Andrew Watts, Logan, Seth, and Adam Hartsfield; great niece, Tess Myers.

She is also survived by a host of firends and other family. She is preceded in death by her parents, R. B. and Pearline Robinson; two sisters; JoAnn Robinson Watts and Jeanette Wood, a nephew; Steve Watts.

Glenda was a loving and caring person and was one of the finest women in Jackson Parish. Although she had no children, she had a hand in raising many children throughout the years. She was beloved by her husband, her family and her church family
The family extemds a s[ecoa; tjaml upi tp Sandra Billings and the staff at Forest Haven; also the staff at Premier Hospice for all the special and loving care that was shown to Mrs. Standley

Pallbearers were Jimmy Standley, Jerry Standley, Keith Standley, Michael Watts, Trae Hartsfield, and Logan Hartsfield. Honorary pallbearers were Drew Watts, Adam Hartsfield, Seth Hartsfield, and Russ Watts.
