OBITUARY: Mrs. Dovie Mae Hancock, 75, 235 S.E. 52 died Tuesday at Mercy Health Center after a long illness. Services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday at Vondel L. Smith & Sons Mortuary with burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Mrs.
Hancock was born in Wolf City, Texas, and came to Oklahoma City in 1933 from Wewoka. She was a piano teacher for many years. A member of Jordon Baptist Church, she served as pianist. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Helen McCormack, and Mrs. Hazel Coil, both of Oklahoma City; Three sisters, Mrs. Virgie Cato, and Mrs. Myrt Sullivan, both of Waco, Texas, and Mrs Vae Phelps, Mooreville, Texas; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
