Helen Kristynik Kieke, born July 14, 1926, 89 years old. On Saturday April 30th, 2016 after her valiant fight with cancer, she left us in peace. A life well lived, possessing a servants heard for her family and community, she was the ultimate model for the servant role.

Helen was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Catholic Daughters. She was a leader in the Catholic community all her life. It was the simple things around her life that she never took for granted. Helen was absolutely devoted to her family, and loved all the family gatherings celebrating family and their lives. She lived during an era when parenting and children were not as celebrated as they are today. And "I love you's" weren't tossed around freely, and wasn't common to place children above career or other responsibilities. She was a Mom who always involved herself in every detail of her children's lives, and supported, respected, and loved them unconditionally. She was a woman of faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ's love, beauty, and peace that would await her. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal. Helen was deeply loved by so many, and she will be forever held in the hearts of her family, friends, and neighbors.
