Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral service for Ronald Guyton "Guy" Johnson, age 83, of Hazlehurst, who passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016. Services were held at 3PM Saturday in the Chapel of Miles Funeral Home. Rev. Clyde Swearingin officiated with entombment in the Palms Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was born in Jeff Davis County. He was the son of the late Chase Johnson, Jr. & Lucille Graham Johnson and the husband of the late Hazle Frost Johnson. Mr. Johnson was the owner operator of Jeff Davis Timber Company. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge #283.
Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law: Glenda & Gary Parker of Milledgeville; Grandson: Garrett Parker of Edwards, MS.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst.
