CARBONVILLE – Our beloved daughter and mother, Anna Marie Chavez, age 29, left the warm embrace of her family and friends and joined her divine creator in a heavenly paradise on March 15, 2003.

Born Sept. 24, 1973 in Price to Danny L. Chavez and Esther Martinez. She married Jesus Rodriguez.

Anna’s greatest love in life was her two daughters and her family, and the time they spent together. She enjoyed reading, dancing and listening to music. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

She is survived by loving daughters, Chantelle and Briann Chavez, both of Carbonville; mother, Esther (Charlie) Sandoval, Price; father, Danny Chavez, Helper; brother, Larry Chavez, Price; sister, Crystal (Michael) Davis, Helper; brother, Bryan (Kristal) Sandoval, Price; sister, Kimberly (Brian) Wood, Price; brother, Paul Cata, Helper; grandparents, Andrea Martinez, Helper; Dolores (Virgil) Sandoval, Price; great-grandmother, Jessie Aguayo, Price; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by sister, Danielle; grandparents, Louis and Arlene Chavez and Josie Luevano.

Funeral Mass Thursday, March 20, 10 a.m., Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service Wednesday evening, 7 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Wednesday and Thursday one hour prior to services. Committal service, Mountain View Cemetery, Helper.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
