Howard D. Bayless, age 89, of Wentworth, MO died on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at the Mt. Vernon Veteran's Home in Mount Vernon, MO.
Mr. Bayless was born in La Russell, MO on Thursday, May 06, 1926.
He was the son of Samuel and Ora (Griffith) Bayless.
Mr. Bayless was married to Beatrice Rimmer on May 12, 1944, in Carthage MO and she preceded him in death on July 15, 2010.
He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the Morningside Baptist Church.
Surviving are the following: two daughters, Deborah Ellis of Monett, MO and Deanna Raley of Wentworth, MO; five grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO on Friday, April 29, 2016, from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
Graveside services will be held at the Van Buren Cemetery in Wentworth, MO on Saturday, April 30, 2016, beginning at 6:00 PM with Grant Raley, Brandon Raley, and Donnie Ellis officiating.
Burial will follow.
