Rachel Willis Young, age 85, of Marion, died Monday, March 14, 2005 at Rosehill Retirement Center.
Born in Mitchell County on July 7, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Finn Willis and Dora Sparks Willis.
She was a member of West Court Baptist Church, retired from Baxter Healthcare.
Her family will remember her as a loving mother and grandmother.
Here husband, Avery Young, Jr. preceded her in death.
Surviving Mrs. Young are her two sons, Sherrill Young and his wife Teresa of Marion and Charles Young and his wife Judy of Morganton; four grandchildren, Patrick Young, Celia Mackey, Terry Young and Glenn Young; four great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in West Court Baptist Church Cemetery.
