Clara Foust Beal was the wife of Clarence Leonard Beal, who is also buried in the Lewis Cemetery.

Clara Mildred Foust was born 12 Dec 1899 at Rockford, Minnesota. She was the daughter of William and Ida [Prestidge] Foust.

She enjoyed handwork and did much embroidery, tatting, and crocheting.

She was the church organist for many years and also enjoyed singing.

She attended school through the tenth grade at Rockford Public School.

She worked in Dickinson Store and for Bowens Resort on Lake Sarah before she was married. After her marriage she was a farmer's wife.

Her funeral services were at the Maple Plain Community Church, Maple Plain, Minnesota. Thursday January 14, 1988, with the Rev. Paul E. Wood officiating.

There were Duets by Don Painter and Bobbi McCoy and Stephanie McCoy and Naomi Richter. The pallbearers were Stephen Beal, Leonard Beal, Charles Foust, Orville Foust, John Steinke, and Rolland Mills.

Clara is my first cousin, one time removed.
