Funeral services for Mr. Douglas Seth Plunkett of Jonesboro, LA were held on April 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the McDonald Memorial Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

Officiating was Brother Stan Foster and Brother Joey Bignar. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories in Jonesboro.

Visitation was from 5-9 p.m., April 13, 2016 at McDonald Memorial Baptist Church and services were on the 14th at 2 p.m. at McDonald Memorial Baptist Church.

Mr. Plunkett, an artist, was born on Feb. 20, 1987 and passed away on April 10, 2016. He was age 29.

Survivos include the love of his life, his daughter, Seylor Camille Plunkett; his Mother Gwen Smith and husband Johnnie; his Father, Lane Plunkett and wife Debbie; Paternal grandparents, Murl and Patricia Plunkett; Sister, Bridget Plunkett, brother, Joshua Plunkett and wife Kim, Seept-sister, Stacy Mosley; Step-brother Johnnie Smith, Jr; Nieces and nephews, that he loved like his own; Jaydan, Mica, Xander, Caleb, Slade and Lillie; lifetime best friend, Michelle Brumfield; his namesake; Charles Douglas Plunkett; best friend Benji Masters. Seth was also survived by a host of cousins and friends.

Seth was preceded in death by hs maternal grandparents, Herold and Jeanette Walker, and two cousins; Danielle Henderson and Cody Henderson.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Seth Plunkett Fund at the Jackson Parish Bank.

Pallbearers were Tony Xochicale, Joshua Plunkett, Jimmy Tilley, Jr., Banjo Johnson, Jeffery Finley, Joey Bagwell, and Benjamin Masters.
