Beverly - Adelard Raymond Guilbeault, known to loved ones as Al, 76, of Beverly, MA, passed away peacefully at Mass General Hospital in Boston on Saturday, October 23, 2021. He was a devoted companion to Janice (DeLorenzo) Galipeau of Beverly for 32 years and her daughters, Carol (Galipeau) Karvosky and Amy (Galipeau) Young. He was raised in Blackstone, MA by his parents Adelard Guilbeault, Jr. and Noella (Baro) Guilbeault. He is survived by his aunt Lucialla Guilbeault of North Smithfield, RI and his cousin Richard Rondeau and wife, Alice of Bellingham, MA.
Al honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He was stationed in Alaska and Texas. He had a knack for repairing small engines and often found abandoned lawnmowers, snowblowers and weed whackers on the roadside that he gave a new life to. He and Janice enjoyed country western dancing and were Riverside Square dancing members. They loved to travel together and walk the beach.
He will always be lovingly remembered and missed by his friends and family.
His funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, November 1, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Church at 672 Hale Street, Beverly Farms, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
