Tana Ann Anderson

Tana Ann Anderson, age 56. laid at rest on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at her residence with her family at her side. Following a courageous battle with ALS.

Born in South Bend, IN and baptized at Notre Dame. The daughter of Patricia (Robert) Petersen and Gerald (Karen) Rutkiewicz. Tana was a beautician for 35 years, the owner of Tanna's Hair studio in Crest Hill, IL. She loved her family, friends and clients. She loved life and encouraged everyone to be the best that they could be. She loved to travel, especially boating with her family and friends.

Survived by her devoted family, husband, Lester (Rob) Anderson; daughter, Kara Anderson; 2 step-children, Jason Anderson and Jamie Porth; 2 grand children, Alexis and Emma; 5 sisters, Beth (Luthor) Pride, Dawn (Ken) Laczynski, Trudie Petersen, Lissa (Harry) Ross and Sylvia Rudolph Steffen; 3 Brothers, Gerald (Kendra) Rutkiewicz, Gabe Rutkiewicz and Todd (Ginger) Link; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her father, Gerald Rutkiewicz; grandparents, William and Clarice Boe, Ruby Jackson and Cass Rutkiewicz.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of her friends, caretakers and everyone who stood by her during her courageous battle.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 10:00 am St. Mary's Immaculate Parish, 15629 S. Route 59, Plainfield, IL.
