She was preceded in death by her parents John Rudolph Slade and Frances Helen Rogge Slade.
She was survived by her husband Keary Elvin Burger; daughters, Rebecca Anne Burger Bush (James Bradley Bush) and Jennifer Anne Burger (Thomas Wilton Lehman, Jr.) ; brother, John Stanley Slade (Janis); nieces, Victoria Slade Pace, Elizabeth Slade DiLorenzo; nephew, Darren Slade.
