MRS. AVIS CULLISON

EL RENO — Mrs. Emily Cullison, 70, died Thursday in Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday In Amity Baptist Church with burial in El Reno Cemetery, directed by Wilson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cullison was born in Clinton. She was a retired elementary school teacher. She taught at a number of Kingfisher County schools before coming to Canadian County and teaching in El Reno and Union Cny. She was a member of the national Education Association and Oklahoma Education Association. She attended Central Stale University and the University of Oklahoma.

Survivors include a son, Marvin, Irving, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Glen Franklin, El Reno: three brothers, Lewis Banther, Kingfisher; the Rev. J. M. Banther, Billings, and Gene Banther, Aurora, Mo.: a sister, Mrs. Leo Libbert, Miami, Okla.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Amity Baptist Church or to the cancer fund of Oklahoma Medical Research foundation.
