Albert H. Nixon, aged 49, died at his home, 619 Ninth avenue, yesterday morning at 9 o'clock after an illness of five weeks from typhoid fever and complications. He is survived by his wife, three children, Mrs. G. F. Aten of Milan, Howard of Cambridge and Albert at home; his mother, Mrs. Marion Nixon, and a sister, Mrs. Eva B. Rothwell, both of Rock Island.
Mrs. Nixon was born and raised at Clinton, Iowa, where he was married 27 years ago to Miss Emma Mason. About 10 years ago he and his family came to Rock Island and have lived here since. Mr. Nixon for the last three years had been an employee of the Velie Motor company, working in the polishing room.
The funeral will be held from the home tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock. Rev. J. L. Vance, pastor of the United Presbyterian church, will officiate. Burial will be made in Chippiannock.
