He was also survived by his children from his first marriage to Carrie Kemp: Patricia, Richard, Roland, Shirley, William, Donald & Kay; and by siblings Robert, Louis, James & Donald Easterday, Nellie Finneyfrock, Mildred Lantz & Mary Whitehead. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
