Betty Jo Hill McBride, 79 of Princeton died Friday, April 22, 2016, at her residence.
Born August 31, 1936 in Oakvale, WV she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Nancy Foster Hill.
Betty Jo retired from Johnston’s Inn in Princeton where she served as a cook for 35 years. She was a member of the Fairview Christian Community Church in Princeton and was a lifelong resident of Mercer County.
In addition to her parents her husband, Willard Landis McBride; one sister, Rebecca Nelson and one brother, Donald Hill preceded her in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Chandra Wimmer and husband Randy of Bluefield, Sonnia Beth McBride of Kansas City, MO, Karen Leigh McBride-James and husband Willie of Palm Coast, FL and Karla Jane McBride-Brinkley and husband Eric of Princeton; one son, Robert Randall McBride and his wife Nita of Gallipolis, OH; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and several great- great grandchildren and one brother, Edward Hill of Harrisburg, PA.
In keeping with her wishes Betty Jo was cremated and there will be no services.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Fairview Christian Community Church, 120 Blackoak Rd., Princeton, WV 24740.
