Mrs. Anna B. Bayer, 74, of Peoria died Monday at Pekin Public Hospital.

Mrs. Bayer was born in Chicago Jan. 28, 1885 to Mr. and Mrs. Sebastian Happach, and was married to Gottlieb Bayer in Peoria May 28, 1902. Mr. Bayer died in Pekin July 18, 1937.

Surviving are three sons, Walter E. Bayer of Pekin, Clarence Bayer of El Paso, Texas and Charles Bayer of Peoria; three brothers, Henry Happach of East Peoria, and Ben Happach and Sebastian Happach both of Pekin; three sisters, Mrs. William Hancock and Miss Mayme Happach, both of Pekin, and Mrs. Carl Schimmelpfenning of Tremont; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. A son LaVerne Bayer preceded her in death.
