Services were in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with John Love, pastor of Trinity Fellowship Church, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery.
Mrs. Spivey was born Feb. 23, 1920, in Duncan, Okla., to Samuel Wesley and Claudia Sleeker.
She was a loving mother who will be missed by all.
She was a servant of God and her family.
Ida was an active member of First Baptist Church in Dumas. She was past director of Senior Citizens in Dumas and also a member of the Happy Hatters for many years.
She married Wade Spivey in 1940, and they had three children.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wade Spivey, in 2000.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Thompson of Hereford; two sons, Dale Spivey and wife Susan of Austin and John Spivey and wife Tanya of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
