He worked at the J. H. Weis Company. He served in the United States Marine Corps and he enjoyed pinball games, pool, movies and country music.
Survivors include a special friend, Teresa Robles; one brother, Steven Bennett (Toni); and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Bennett Sr. and Virgie Mae Brock Bennett; one brother, Chester Bennett Jr. and one sister, Dorothy Pack Thomas.
His funeral service will be held Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 4 - 8 p.m. in Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
