Esther Lee Gray, age 74 died Monday, April 18, 2016. Esther was born on January 17, 1942 in the Marshall Hill Community near Idabel to Emerson Parker and Ida (Maytubbie) Davis. She has lived in Hartshorne for over 20 years and has worked at Jones Academy as Home Living Staff since 1997. She was a member of the Kulli Tuklo United Methodist Church in Idabel and while living in Hartshorne attended Edgewood United Methodist Church in Hartshorne. She loved sewing, watching her grandchildren, nieces and nephews playing sports and activities. She especially loved caring for her Jones Academy children. She was preceded in death by her father, Emerson Parker, mother, Ida (Maytubbie) Davis, brothers and sisters, Sara Sue Parker, William "Sonny" Jessie, Alec Jessie, Eliza James, Berline Jessie, Virginia Osbourn, Julius Davis, Jr., Silas Parker, Gabe Parker, Carolyn Johnson, Kathryn Battiest, Ruby Jessie and Rosalee Harley. Visitation and a Wake are scheduled for Friday, April 22, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home in Hartshorne. Under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne. Burial will be at Kulli Tuklo Cemetery near Idabel, Oklahoma.
